Loudoun County Lawn Maintenance. Call Jeremy and Adam.

Loudoun County Lawn Maintenance.  Call Jeremy and Adam.

Five years ago when I moved to a rural area in Loudoun County Virginia from an urban community in Bethesda Maryland, I knew that the 1.63 acre lot was going to be a landscaping maintenance challenge.  My home in Bethesda was a normal Bethesda lot of about 6,000 square feet.  The lot in Lovettsville was 1.6 acre.  Little did I know. . . .

ENTER JEREMY.  Over the past 5 years I’ve had a few landscaping challenges.  Knowing that the acre plus back yard was far more than I would manage myself, I began to contact local landscaping maintenance companies in Loudoun County.  The first two companies failed to even show up.   Other companies were not accepting any more clients.  I got the idea that I should have gone into the landscaping maintenance business.  Finally, after going through every company I could Google (it’s a reflex), I picked up a local newspaper and ran into an advertisement for a local company, SHORES GROUNDS MAINTENANCE LLC.   One telephone call and Jeremy was at my house on the following Sunday morning to give me an estimate.   Since that day, Shores Grounds Maintenance, LLC has

Cut my grass every 2 weeks during the growing season.
Excavated ground for my bulb garden.
Saved the huge rocks to decorate the area (I love rocks).
Tilled ground for other growing areas.
Repaired the grounds when the new well was dug (Have you ever seen the mess from an 800 ft. well?)
Provided snow removal - even when the snow was 5 feet deep.
Planted verious shrubs and decorative plants over the years.
Prepared the front yard with landscaping fabric and a layer of mulch so that the hill didn’t have to be cut.
Constructed decorative fencing in the front yard (hill).
Applied mulch as required by the annual on-site sewage disposal system.
Feed, weed and seed my law every year.

And probably much more that I can’t remember.

The well digging made a real mess.  Jeremy cleaned it up and dug the driveway to
lay the pipe to bring water to the house.

Jeremy Shores and his partner Adam Brown take good care of me and I appreciate the hard
work they do.

TO PROTECT THE VALUE OF YOUR REAL ESTATE, GOOD HOME MAINTENANCE IS ESSENTIAL.

Home Maintenance

HOWEVER, SOMETIMES WE ARE SURPRISED BY WHAT WE FIND.

Have you ever seen anything uglier that these elements removed from my water heater???  Apparently, this is not an unusual occurance when a home owner drains an electric water heater.  I suspect it is a more serious problem in areas serviced by well water.

Since having my hot water heater drained about 2 weeks ago, the breaker has tripped a few times and I’ve been without hot water.  I would hit the breaker and the next day, the same thing would happen.  No hot water.  Since I have house guests with a 2 year old and an 11 year old, we need hot water.

So, with no hot water last evening, I called the company that drained the hot water last week, All Seasons, LLC Handyman Services.   So, Ryan came back out today and removed the elements from the hot water heater.  Just look at those ugly things.  No wonder we had no hot water.

Next year, I’ll have the hot water heater drained again and routinely replace the elements.

This is what they should look like.

Again, great service from All Seasons.  I sent e-mail last evening and it’s fixed today.  That’s service.
