While it appears that Loudoun County High Schoolsare “clustered” around Leesburg, Sterling, Ashburn and the eastern areas of the county, it’s simply a matter of population density. Rumor has it that the next high school to be constructed in Loudoun County will be in the Lovettsville area. Will a grocery store follow?
BUT, LET’S BEGIN AT THE BEGINNING. REGISTRATION FOR LOUDOUN COUNTY KINDERGARTEN:
The Loudoun County public school calendar begins on August 29, 2011.
Registration for Loudoun County Kindergarten begins on Tuesday, April 12th. Check for registration hours at the elementary school your child will attend. All elementary schools will register students in their attendance zone only.

A Physical Examination Form, completed within 12 months of the first day of school (August 29, 2011) will be required by August 15. Your child’s registration is not complete until all of the above, including the physical form, have been returned to the school.
